About Fairfield
Fairfield AD Ltd. is a new business and was incorporated on the 9th August 2007. The directors of Fairfield Materials Management established this business to create a second sustainable waste management solution in Greater Manchester before tackling other areas.
The Fairfield team has gained extensive experience from the Fairfield Materials Management operation. This operation has moved from being a grant reliant, one chamber-composting site working with just a handful of customers to a financially sustainable, award winning, six-chamber composting business diverting food waste from all of the businesses on New Smithfield Market and supplying compost to the likes of the Forestry Commission.
The Fairfield team has 5 years experience of research, development, site operations (including operating plant and equipment, internal and external maintenance schedules etc.), personnel, attracting investment and fundraising, financial management, health & safety and product marketing.
Fairfield is registered with Companies House as a Company Limited by Shares. It has a standard company structure with a board of four directors who are responsible for the management of the company and the Projects Manager who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the enterprise.
